When we are talking about the best institutes, colleges or universities we are referring to the crème de la crème of intellectuals. Only the best gets a chance to study in the best, so that there is proper guidance and channelized efforts in achieving their vested interests.

Now the difficult question is that if there are so many of them who claim themselves as the best, how will a student check their credentials? If someone claims to be the best, then the first aspect that needs to be analysed is their infrastructure. From infrastructure I am not referring to big buildings rather it’s the equipments and software they posses to train their students. Sophisticated and latest software will give the students an edge over the rest. The responsibility lies on the shoulder of the animation academy to procure all the latest software from abroad and teach the students on new techniques of animation. It is imperative to realize that a technology driven industry is always an evolving industry and continuous updates will only help someone to stay ahead in the race.
The academy should have the best of faculty members to conduct the animation courses. It has been largely observed that most of the emerging institutes appoint their alumni as faculty members. If the academy could not resource a reasonable job for their students they offer them the job of faculty members in their own colleges. Well if there is a deserving candidate and he or she wishes to become an academician then that is a different scenario, but if the record suggests that most of the students from a particular batch went on to become teachers in the same college then it can be clearly comprehended that it is a clear situation of limited opportunities. An ideal teacher of animation is a person who himself or herself is an industry expert.
