The growing spectrum of 3D animation institutes in India

The source of animation is traced to the concept of ‘Stop Motion’. The entertainment industry has undergone a sea change since the days of ‘Stop Motion’, today we are in the age of 3D animation, which means an animation that offers a three dimensional view. India is catching up fast with the evolving scene of animation in the international arena. The 3D animation institutes in India are no less capable than its international counterparts when it comes to churning out the best of animation artists.
India is a developing economy and it offers innumerable opportunities. A developing economy all the more requires dynamic sectors like animation. It has come to our lives as a wind of change offering interesting job opportunities, redefining the concept of entertainment and overall making a substantial contribution to our economy. The fate of this sector rests on the responsible shoulders of the animation institutes in India. Education sector is always the biggest contributor in the growth of an economy and the same applies with animation as well.
India is a land brimming with talents and only a responsible animation institute can nurture it properly. It is highly probable that a commoner will use 3D as a synonym for animation but animation is a large segment with topics like 2D and VFX as well. Thus it has been observed that most of the students approach the institutes only for 3D courses, but a right institute will first take them through the basics before introducing them to the world of 3D animation. International animation institutes accord equal importance to all the topics that together makes the segment of animation. This is the reason behind equal popularity of both 2D and 3D animation. One should not view 3D as a superior form of animation; both 2D and 3D have their own unique specialties. The leading animation institutes in India have stuck to this mantra resulting in a good number of both 3D and 2D animation movies being produced every year in India. Therefore it can be rightly said that the spectrum of animation institutes in India have also been evolving at par with the international animation institutes.
Let us take an example to elucidate the aforementioned statement, Roadside Romeo a 3D animated flick from the house of YashRaj Films and Little Ganesha a 2D movie were equally well received by the audience, which goes on to prove that India is a vibrant market for both 3D and 2D movies. 3D animation training becomes interesting only when the course curriculum talks about the new developments that are taking place in the 3D domain.

There are very few who offer structured and organized 3D animation diploma in India, MAAC is one of the few. It is considered as the best 3D animation institute in India
